What to expect //
Chiropractic care focuses on promoting the body’s natural responses to support healing at the source; without the use of medication or surgery. Dr. Nicholas Kuchar is trained and experienced with administering advanced chiropractic techniques, such as corrective spinal manipulations and adjustments, soft tissue therapy and massage, providing lifestyle recommendations and exercise therapy and a range of other treatments designed specifically for each patient. Dr Nick approaches the patient with the goal of rooting out the cause of your chronic pain problem linked to imbalances and dysfunction found within the spine. In addition, his goal is to restore your body to peak functioning and a pain free existence.
So at the first appointment here is what you can expect!
Upon entering the office, we have some brief paperwork for you to complete. The paperwork will provide us with general information about yourself along with your condition. If you would like to save some time and prepare the paperwork ahead of time please click here.
History and Examination
In order to determine what the actual problem is, the doctor will ask you various questions related to your condition. Next, numerous specialized tests will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and also to what magnitude.
Same Day Treatment
When finished with the examination and all the appropriate studies, patients will generally receive their first treatment during this same visit. This may include spinal adjustments, physical therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies.
Prior to leaving, patients will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This could include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.

You will be given a convenient appointment time for your follow-up visit. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days and are given a complete overview of findings. Treatment options for your condition will also be discussed during this time.
